  1. Since 1080p projectors start just under about $2000 in the US ... the only real choice -- assuming the rebate is still valid -- is the Mitsubishi HC4900 (Link 1). Since prices are always changing the second link is to a complete comparative review of 1080p projectors. I'm sure you can decide based on that.

    By the way the Canon mentioned above is not a 1080p projector.
