What is the best quality cigar in the world?

A previous poster metioned Cuban cigars and they certainly do have a good reputation - but its like saying France makes good wine (when there is also some nasty cheap wine for sale there).

Also; there is something of a 'high society/sophisticated' connoiseur element attached to Cigar smoking... as with wine, cigars come in many different types with prices ranging from a few dollars to thousands of dollars.

The international magazine called "Cigaraficionado" published a list of Top 25 cigars in 2007; and Cigar-magazine publishes a Best-of-the best list for Fall 2008.

OK for the jokesters who may have thought they have smoked a Cuban to begin with.  My first response is learn to recognize a fake. My second response is that Cubans are noted for what they were years ago.

As mentioned, this question is very subject to ones tastes.

Cubans are overrated and not not worth the price.  My favorites are the largest ring sizes of Partegas and Indios Puros.

Anything you buy in a humidor is generally going to be good quality. Its hard to say which are better than others since its all in what you like. For me it would go,
