What is the best/quickest/cheapest way for me to get to Valencia from NW England?

I need to get to Valencia but am struggling finding flights from Manchester.

I can fly from either Manchester or Blackpool

does anyone know about flights?

and what are the options of flying to other places near eg.Alicante?

Any info on flights/trains/distance (I dont know Spain atall) would be brilliant

I can't really find any either.. You can fly to alicante very cheaply from Manchester, with most companies, however you'll have to get the train to valencia, which takes about 2 hours and costs about 25euros. You can get the bus too, which is a bit cheaper, but takes longer. The bus from Alicante airport will take you near the bus and train station. Is liverpool not an option for you at all? because ryanair fly to Valencia (but not every day). I'm not sure where else you could fly to, Barcalona's a bit far.. Anyway, hope that helps you a bit :)
