What is the best radio for a garage or jobsite?

I am looking to buy a radio for my husband for our garage/his work area. I do not know which is the best and really don't want to spend $180 on one that is not that great. Any ideas?

I saw a Rigid brand at Home Depot on sale near the contractor's desk last weekend. It was just what you're looking for. Designed to look like a small toolbox in the traditional Rigid look and colors. The spakers were good-sized, it had CD/AM/FM and protective rails around it and a very sturdy, durable look. Check your local HD, maybe they'll have them.
