I had a 70 hunter that served me well since WoW came out in Nov., 2004. I liked him but I was ready for a change, so I sold the account.

Now I have bought a new account and I'm sitting at the character creation screen, ready to start fresh. I think I'd like to make a raid healer that will last at 70 and beyond even to 80 when WotLK comes out.

From personal experience, I can see that every healing class has it's strength. Paladins are excellent single-target healers, priests have great big heals and excellent efficiency, dr00dz are nice with their DOTs and off-tanking and general uberness, shamans have the Jesus Beams.

So I present to you this question: What RACE and CLASS should I pick if I want to be a raid healer through WotLK content?

Oh yeah one more note: I am HORDE 4 LIFE so don't even bother suggesting one of those puny Ally races :-)

  1. well i gues prist are the best but i personaly like druids but idk am not a good healer.

  2. I would go with a Priest, as they are the most balanced healer. They have the best group healing spells, can also spam on one target, although not as good as the paladin. I would go for the undead, Will of the Forsaken can be useful for encounters with fear, as your fear ward will probably be used on the tank.
