  1. So we can bring the troops home, close the borders and let the rest of the world deal with their own sh*t.  We'll tell Israel to go f*ck themselves and that we're tired of wasting time, money and lives protecting them, so they are on their own.  Instead of pursuing some meaningless oil war, we'll get our own from the bases we have in Alaska instead of sacrificing more lives to get more oil in the middle east.

Lastly, we can focus on what we need to do for ourselves instead of prying into other countries' problems, and put our money towards a stronger economy.

Thank you very much and have a pleasant day!!

  2. Look at the people he has hung around for most of his life, and his role models - "uncle" Jeremiah Wright and his congregation.  If you share their views and feel that the US should "change" to a third world country, you probably have a valid reason to vote for Obama.

  3. I don't know of any reason to vote for him.

  4. There isn't one.

  5. If you hate america, vote for Obama.

  6. I think that Obama represents a break from the military-industrial complex cabal that has driven the US into the gutter over the last 8 years.

Do I think he is "the chosen one?" No...

Obama talked a good game and garnered my interest when he started talking about the Gulf War as an example of war profiteers and oil men raping the country but I haven't seen the one thing that I NEEDED to see to get psyched about his candidacy: a promise to avenge the American people by vigorously pursuing indictments for the web of lies and deceit that Bush & d**k wove in order to rob the American people.

That said, Obama is definitely not beholden to Exxon or Shell or Lockheed Martin or General Dynamics and he is not pandering the the right-wing wackjob evangelicals that, I believe, are h**l bent on turning my country into the United States of Jesus.

He is nuanced, sophisticated and intelligent. Given the last eight years, I think the world would be much better off if the US decides to ditch simplistic rhetoric, pandering to the lowest common denominator and the other tired and untrue BS that McCain has internalized in the course of the many deals with the devil that he has made in order to finally get the Republican Party's nomination.

I don't think representative government in the US can survive another 4 years of a republican chief executive.

  7. He picked a VP who has much experience in foreign policy, but this doesn't mean he will go along with the ideas. He did this for votes. He is still very inexperienced and will do as he pleases.

  8. There isn't one!

    McCain 08!

  9. McCain = WWIII and that is a given!

That makes Obama the lesser evil. however the way everything is set up even Obama may not be able to avoid IE; a war with Iran and therefor Russia and therefor the WWIII. but at least it isn't a given and  Obama may be able to save USA and the world from such a disaster!
