I was stationed in Korea. I loved eating chicken bulgolgi. Can you please give me some ideas?

  1. Good Morning,

    Here is a recipe that is relatively easy to prepare for Chicken Bulgogi.

    INGREDIENTS:

    2 boneless, skinless chicken b*****s

    1 tablespoon chopped garlic

    2 green onions, chopped

    1 tablespoon grated ginger

    2 teaspoons sesame oil

    3 tablespoon soy sauce

    freshly ground pepper

    Remove fillet strip from under chicken b*****s.

    Divide b*****s into four pieces across the width.

    Combine garlic, onions, ginger, sesame oil, soy and pepper in a bowl.

    Add chicken pieces and fillets and leave to marinate for one hour, tossing together occasionally.

    Preheat barbecue or grill pan.

    Grill chicken b*****s for about three minutes each side or until juices are clear. Serve on top of the salad.

    Makes 2 to 3 servings

    BULGOGI AND RICE (ORIENTAL CHICKEN & RICE)

    1 lb. beef steak or chicken

    Green onion

    Fresh garlic

    Black pepper

    3 tbsp. soy sauce

    Pinch salt

    1/2 c. 7 - Up or sugar

    Chop the green onion and garlic into small pieces. Add small amount of black pepper. Cut the beef or chicken into small pieces. Put all ingredients into bowl and marinate at least 1 hour or overnight. Grill or bake next day until desired tenderness. Serve with or over rice.

  3. I use the marinade I buy at the store,    but Ill have to try this other guys idea.

  4. Beef bulgolgi is made my coating the meat in granulated sugar.  It is then marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil and chopped green onions.  Let it sit 1 hour to overnight.  Pan-fry.

    I assume chicken bulgolgi is done the same way.

    EDIT:  I googled chicken bulgolgi.  It is done the same.  Oh, and I forgot that the marinade gets fresh ginger, fresh garlic and rice vinegar.
