What is the best restaurant in Epsom?

Want to go out for a nice meal this weekend and wondering where is good to go.

There are no restaurants in Esher in the Good Food Guide, though I recall having a good Chinese meal at The Good Earth some years ago.  There are surprisingly few restaurants in the Good Food Guide in Surrey.  You could try the French Table in Surbiton (4/10),  Drakes Restaurant in Ripley (6/10), Drakes on the Pond in Abinger Hammer (5/10) or the Dining Room in Reigate (3/10).

Alternatively if you head towards London you could try the excellent Petersham in Richmond (see www.andyhyaler.com for contact details).

If you like French food, C'Est La Vie on the High St is a pretty good choice.

For an excellent Sunday Roast I can highly recommend The Derby Arms
