Why isn't this body temperature 37 degrees?

  1. 25 degree centigrate.since it has been measured.why u r a human being.


  2. I'd say 30ish degrees celsius - the body's optimum temperature is around 37 degrees give or take a few. However if we simply had it at that temperature, the reactions which HAVE to take place will generate additional heat, leading to an elevated temperature of the body beyond the optimum range.

    Best off having a room temperature which will allow us to cool down some, and then push back up to the optimum with the heat from anabolic reactions and such.
