What is the best route to drive from Harlow to Plough Lane SW19.?

I have driven several times by different routes but always get held up for one reason or another.

The best route is always the scenic route. Might not be the quickest though.

Go to Epping and get the tube to Wimbledon Park. There's a dozen ways you could go by car but some part of it will invariably be stuffed. I used to try driving from Harlow to Surbiton via Wimbledon to get to work. Complete waste of time and ended up using the M25/A3. In fact M25/A217 isn't as daft as it sounds for Plough Lane.
