What is the best router available on the market today?

Can you please tell me what are the best routers on the market today pointing out the best of them and I don't care about the money. I just need the fastest and the most powerfull one. Thanks

You really need to be careful what you ask for.

Someday you just might get it!!

Cisco is the Gold Standard for routers. They do not do home systems. Their routers start at large companies and go up. The Cisco routers that run the Internet cost hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars and are the most powerful available.

Somehow I don't think that is what you are talking about,

Home routers range from basic wired routers costing about $40.00 to gaming routers costing between $100 and $150.00.

Who is the Best???

I like D-Link and their gaming routers have power and features to satisfy most anyone.

Because you did not list any specifications such as network speed, wired or wireless, wireless protocol required, and any special functions needed, such as monitoring, managing connections or security, and did not detail the way the router will be used, I cannot make a more specific recommendation.

anything made by Linksys is great,

Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router 54 Mbps 802.11g, WPA, QoS, 4P switch I have one with 35% speed booster and has never let me down , can manage 1 Pc up to 64 on a office network

Note ignore the above person about D-Link, they are c**p, IO used to work in a ISP and D-Link and Belkin were the main call drivers in terms of cannot connect. D-link and Belkin are almost programmed to self destruct, they are cheap and c**p, if you cannot afford a Lynksys then just get a netgear they are equaly as good, but steer as far clear of belkin and D-Link as humanly possible,
