  1. It all  depends on a few things. If you have had a foot injury it can lead to back and knee pain. If you have not then I would go with some form of stability shoes. Me personally I injured my ankle and back I use Asics gel-Nimbus VII's. They are very comfy but different shoes are used for different things. Go online and search the type you might be looking for.

  2. Best is different for everyone.  I have a great shoe in my Nike Air  Trail Pegasus Bowerman Series.  Less than $100 for a great running shoe is a deal.  God Bless and Peace out..............

  3. Asic gel! I luv that shoe and it makes u faster. It's light weight and it comfortable

  4. nike shox...ive been using shox for 5 years now with no injuries at all

  5. The best is different for everyone.  If you go to a running specialty store, they will watch you walk and jog to see how you move and if you need a shoe with extra support in different places (if you pronate or underpronate for example).  You can also talk to them about any pain you are experiencing, and they will try to determine if your shoes could be contributing.

Usually, they won't just point to a shoe.  They will have you put on two at once and let them know which feels best.  Then, you will keep that one on one foot and try on another, and so on.

The key to getting the right shoe is to find the one that you feel the LEAST.  If you feel pressure anywhere (even if it feels like comfortable extra padding), you should go with a different shoe.

  6. I like personally running barefoot.  But for meets I wear Nike Air Max 360.  Me and My boyfriend have them and it feels like you're running on air.  It also helps out my legs because of my knee problem.  Nike Shox are also a good shoe.  The new Under Armor shoes are really nice to run in when you train.

  7. I was having knee problems w/ my nike crosstrainer until I bought the Adidas Uraha running shoe. It's light, very supportive and haven't had any problems since wearing them.

  8. I love my Sauconys they were cheaper and feel better on my foot than the Nikes I've had. I also have a great pair of Nikes, I use them for running because of the Nike+ super cute, but not as much cushion as the Saucony pair. Trade off for the extra flexible sole though. The Saucony I like for outdoor activity with the stiffer sole and ankle support.

I sat in two different shoe stores all day picking these out. You have to try everything on and walk around to get a feel, compare them to the expensive Nikes. You want the best shoes you can get. You'd be surprised, the best ones don't always cost the most.

  9. I have been running for 8 years now. Though I am biased towards Nike as a brand, I would recommend you to go to a running-specific store, like Fleet Feet in Carrboro, NC. They can help you find the right shoe because people buy shoes that aren't necessarily right for their feet, but more comfortable or fashionable. But after you get the correct shoes or even if you haven't, I would go to any major athletics store and ask the sales associates because they are getting paid to know the products they are selling. But make sure you state the use/reason for buying the shoes. Good luck!!!
