  1. NYU, UArts, Carnegie Mellon, American Musical & Dramatic Academy, Boston Conservatory, Cincinnati Conservatory, CCM, Oklahoma City University, and Northwestern are all great schools for musical theatre.


  2. Actually Julliard doesn't have a "musical theatre" program - they have theatre and then they have voice (which is opera).

    Good schools for MT:

    Univ of Michigan

    Boston Conservatory of Music

    Carnegie Mellon

    Cinncinnati Conservatory (at Univ of Cinn)

    NYU

    Ithaca College

    Syracuse University

    Shenandoah

    These are all considered top tier and are extremely competitive. There are several other colleges who also offer MT degrees who are less competitive,so look around.
