What is the best sealant/ epoxy to use to seal small holes in the back of an boat with an Aluminum hull??

  1. jb weld works too.

It more depends on the size of the leek,it,s location and how much you are willing to spend, if it is leaking at a rivet, you can have the rivet replaced at a big truck repair shop, if it is a seam you can have it welded at a welding shop, if it is a small leak and you don't want to invest a whole lot of Money I would sand the area with a 180 grit sandpaper as good as possible and apply JB Weld and let it cure for 24 Hour,s before getting it wet, if the leak is in the transom area I would use a urethane sealant, JB Weld is very good stuff but it wont stand up to the pressure,s of the outboard.

  4. have it welded  with a heliarc welder it's a welder that is used for aluminum
