The summer is the cheapest time to visit, because it's the time the beach resorts (like Cancun and Puerta Vallarta) are the hottest.

If you visit the cities at high elevation (Guadalajara, Morelia, Mexico City, Oaxaca, San Cristobal de las Casas), the temperature is moderated by the elevation, so you can get some good prices on air fares and room rates.

hmmm...summer is probably the cheapest but it's too hot and might be rainy.  i go for spring break every year and i've found you can get really good pretty cheap packages that include airfare and hotel.  but the weather in the spring is the best!!!!!

We went in May of this year and it was inexpensive and beautioful. Plus you don't have to worry about hurricanes.
