What is the best set up for a solo guitarist?

I can play acoustic and electric. I usually use a Rickenbacker 330. I am looking for the best way to back my playing.

  1. It completely depends upon what you are playing. Paul Simon went through a phase with Ladysmith vocals! And it worked!
