no shampoo at all! just use conditioner. If you develop a problem with flatness at the root, use just a little shampoo mixed with water at the scalp only.

It depends on the type of hair also, if you have curly hair you might want to find one that specializes for people with curly hair and the same goes for straight, etc. Also try and use a natural shampoo that does not contain alcohols or animal products or anything you can not pronounce or you do not know off the top of your head.
