Okay well, I have hair that's ends touch my shoulder and it's wavy when it's wet and then turns curly when dry and has a lot of volume. It's really thin and it gets oily in about 3 days. I'm currently using Head & Shoulders but I heard that it's for dandruff and it drys it overtime and my hair was REALLY dry and it got a lot better since I started using it. I always straighten it becuase I hate how the curly looks on me and I like straight better. It damaged my hair a lot so I cut it and school is going to start and I'm going to start straightening my hair again. I'm wondering what's a shampoo that I can use for a long time that'll keep helping my hair instead of damaging it. Also, that has a long fragrance and that moistuizes my hair really well and makes it super healthy.

PS- Don't bother if it's expensive.

  1. Why not try using shampoos with herbal and natural ingredients like reetha (soapnut) and shikakai. It's not damaging to the hair even after long-term use.

  2. well for starters i advice you strongly to not starighten your hair so often! go to the shop and permenently do it so that it might not damage your hair as much. everyday straightening is applying too much heat on your hair. but if you still want to do everyday starightening use heat protective spray.

shampoo...the one i use is PAMOLIVE INTENSIVE MOISTURE(the bottle is pink). it is awesome! works for me. it smells awesome and moistures my hair very well.  get the conditioner too, the shampoo works better with the conditoner.

  3. Well, my hair is kind of like yours.  I like the way my hair looks when it is straight, too, but it has damaged it so much that I decided not to anymore.  I usually just straighten my bangs and put mousse in my hair so that it is shiny.  I actually just use Herbal Essences, the moisturizing one.  It smells really great and works really great also.  Hope I helped =).

  4. DON'T use head and shoulders. It's full of detergents that will dry out your hair AND scalp. for better dandruff shampoo, redken has a brand for all different kinds of dandruffs (yes tehre are different ones)

I suggest using hydrating shampoo AND if you HAIR lenghts are dry, use a conditionner in cream OR oils that can moisturize your hair. You apply it for 10 minutes and OFF it goes and WOW it feels soft!

for long OR short hair, curly or not, I use All soft by redken or clear moisture.

  5. do not use pantene and herbal essences. they are extremely bad for hair. try organix. it is excellent for hair and only $6.99. it works amazingly and has no harmful chemicals in it

  6. I know you said don't bother if it is expensive, but I use Pureology. Yes it is expensive but it does have  a plus. You spend money to buy it but it lasts for a long time. for instance a year ago I bought a large bottle at $40 and I just finished it last week. The shampoo has no alcohol in it, which is the best for your hair. (alcohol kills it and makes it really unhealthy.) It is also a concentrate which means that you do not need to use as much. For my hair which is really long, almost to the top of my rear, I pour about the size of a quarter into my hand.

I also can go about two to three days without washing my hair.

  7. Kerastase shampoo

it is really expensive here it is pic

  8. I use Pantene Pro-V Always Smooth... it's GREAT.  I would definitely recommend it.  It keeps my hair straight and smooth and feeling amazing.

  9. You do what i do . I use head and shoulders daily but i use tresseme conditioner for dry and/ or damaged hair afterwords and leave it in for about 2 minutes. I have long hair that tends to frizz out in humid weather but I am pretty happy w/ my routine right now.
