  1. i would only recommend getting steel in anything but your irons

and steel is not a flex...steel shafts also have regular and stiff flex

if you tend to hit the ball too high get stiff

if you tend to hit the ball low get regular

    its that simple

  2. You made no mention of your swing speed so how can anyone advise with so few facts. Please check your spelling. I don't think there is an "r" in shaft.

  3. Sounds like you are a beginner, or at least haven't played golf for too long.  In that case, I would recommend you get regular flex.  Which flex to use really depends on your swing speed, down swing angle and impact position.  Regular flex would tend to be more even all-around for all of the above.  As you get better, and swing speed and accuracy increases, you can switch to stiff.  For Drivers and 3 wood, probably best to get regular flex steel or stiff flex non-steel so the club head will fly more true.

  4. We would be more than happy to offer advice were we given sufficient information to be able to present an informed opinion.  Swing speed is crucial to determining shaft flex requirements.  your Height and weight are not factors at all in this situation.

  5. REGULAR FLEX with graphite shaft is a good way to start playing.   If you don't like your shaft, you can always re-shaft it at a Clubmaker.

  6. If you are a beginner as I assume you are, I recommend regular flex. They can handle both fast and moderate swing speeds. I currently use a stiff shaft because my swing speed is 95mph. I also can use a regular flex shaft but i tend to loose distance. Hope this helps.

  7. Several factors. If you are a strong person go with stiff, if you are not a strong person go with regular. Steel shafts are more constistant for irons (striking the ground). Graphite tend to be really popular for woods. That is pretty much it, cant really make really good recomendations without knowing swing speed and ball flight.
