The Trial by Franz Kafka- a man is arrested one morning. He is innocent and is not even told the crime of which he has been arrested for. Basically he slowly tries to fight the system but it's all turned against him.

"My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult

Has a lot to do with the justice system. A story that will make you think on many levels. Also a story that without a doubt make you feel. I'd recommend it to almost anyone. Look it up on Amazon and see what you think. Its most definitely a quick read and you won't regret it. You may even be turned on to read more books by the same author, which I most definitely did and didn't regret it.
