  1. try the obvious, british rail.

or just pay on the day. anyway its not the trains that are on strike

  2. Goto your nearest station, same deals as the trainline, etc, but no waiting for the tickets to arrive, plus you have the comfort of talking to a person and not some voice at the end of the computer, normally a lot more helpful as well.

  3. You will need to go to firstscotrail.com, ive just used them to book tickets from Edinburgh to Aberdeen.  Good luck and enjoy Blackpool.

  4. www.thetrainline.co.uk

  5. I wouldn't try  anything that involves the post. Although the strike is over now, they are saying it may take a long time for things to get back to normal. Try www.virgintrains.co.uk.  They run services on the west coast from Scotland and my son was able to order and print off his ticket on line the other week.

  6. www.thetrainline.com. If you live near a big station which has one of those eTicket machines, you can pick them up from there. And the strike's over now anyway...

  7. You have two choices..........

1,   Go to a railway station and ask.

2,  Type into Go ogle  "British rail inquires"  and you can plan your journey

the way you want.   You can even print it out.

When you find the site  Bookmark/Favourite it

  8. You can always buy tickets at your train station tomorrow for then, I do that or www.nationalrail.co.uk follow the instructions and it will give you a list of operators to get your tickets from yes the postal strike buggers everything up I had to send some coach tickets to someone by next day delivery and then they went on strike it never got delivered and the person could'nt get acoach

  9. www.thetrainline.com

  10. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/
