What is the best site to order a birth certificate from?

You can get a copy of your birth certificate from the county (or city) where you were born.  Many government centers now do have Web sites where you can order a copy of your birth certificate, but I can't give you a link without knowing which county.  

I was born in New York City, and it was simple to order a birth certificate online from them.  I suggest you type the name of the city or county into Google, along with the words "birth record."  That's how I got my certificate. Good luck!!

Birth records are managed by the county (not the state, not the hospital, not George Bush).  Most counties have a website where you can request a birth certificate.

You get it from the clerk of records where you were born.

I didn't know that you could do that. I thought that you get it at the hospital when you are born.... lol

You have to contact, by written request the County you were born in. They send a special paper for you to fill out. Then they will search the database and send you your birth certificate. There is usually a small fee for this as well.

I dont think you can "order" a birth certificate? Maybe I'm not understanding your question, but I should think that because birth certificates are used for identification purposes, no website would sell them. Not any legal website, anyways.
