Depends what you want to back, if its lots of horses the best returns you will get off www.betfair.com. If its just one horse or two, go to oddschecker.com and check out the best price for the horse, and back it with that bookie. All uk on line bookies are safe.

Betfair, gives you 20% better prices than bookmakers, so you get more money returned when you win

As for a tip I fancy comply or die, a good eachway chance at a good price.  I got 13.5/1 on betfair when the bookies were only giving 10/1
