I want to use this bike for the street and for the track. I used to have a Ninja ZX6R and I want a faster bike. Will the 1000 be too big on the track for my leans?

  1. Depends on how tight your track is. Are we talking Laguna Seca, or the Isle of Mann? I'd like the 750 for Willow Springs, but I'd rather have the 1,000 for the bigger road courses. Try the V-twins (Ducati, Harley) if you think the inline 4's are too wide. Are you racing box stock, or modified?

  2. I would recommend Suzuki GSXR750. It should have more than enough power and is wicked on the track. Having said that, a mate of mine came over to Spain recently on his new GSXR1000 K7, and that actually has a switch where you can select the power characteristics of either the 600, 750 or 1000 which is ideal, probably 750 for track and 1000 for the roads where that extra low down power means you can stay in 6th gear all day.
