It depends upon what type of skating you want to do. Something 25-27 inches long is pretty good as an all around do just about anything board.

Its your preference that matters.

Go to your local skate shop and feel the diffrent sizes.

I usually skate 7.75 and im a size 8.

My friend skate 7.5 when he's shoe size is 9.5.
