I am an agressive skier, was planning on going out west but want to stay more east. I want some good skiing at a decent price, like everyone else! Any suggestions?

  1. Stowe, Vermont

    Jimmy Peak, Mass

    Killington, Vermont

    Sugarbush, Vermont

    Sunday River, Maine

Mad River Glen, New York (low prices, no gliz, no glamor)

  2. Well, i would definitley have to say Catskill Mountain in New York. It is very pretty and snow is great this time of year. I go every Febuary.

  3. Killington is for sure the biggest. There is a ton of

    night life, etc. - 200 trails. http://www.killington.com/images/07-08_T...

  4. Yes I have a suggestion. I am a ski Racer at Okemo and the snow here I perfect. Okemo is in Vermont. The mountain is really well set up there is really good food and great skiing. You can go to this site if you want more information.

    Hope This Helps.

  5. The best place is Jay Peak in Vermont as any true New Englander will know.  New York is a joke, don't waste your money on lift tickets there.  I skied and snowboarded in New England for 24 years before moving to Cali and Jay Peak is the only mountain that gets snow like the West.  Mostly fluffy powder and very little ice.

  6. Jimniy in Mass.  If you go to their web site and look up ecoupons, you can often find some really great deals.  If you make it out west...Keystone is great.

  7. Jay will give you steep, sick runs. There is little nightlife, but if you want to ski go there...if you want a party, then go to Killington.

Mad River Glen has the most difficult runs in New England. While Smuggs has a "Triple Diamond", it's not always open and MRG's sick runs rarely are closed off unless it's really boney.

Either will work if you are prepping for a trip out west.
