What is the best smelling cigarette smoke?

Question

I am a non-smoker, but sometime I smell a cretin smoke and I like the smell?

What kind is it? On the other hand, could it be a cigar. (Not sure if that is the correct spelling.)

There is no such thing as a good smelling cigarette.  The best smelling tobacco is pipe tobacco.  Maybe I am biased because I smoke a pipe and hate cigarettes.

I love the smell of cigars! My fav is the Kahlua flavored cigars they smell and taste great! I hate the smell of cigarettes however. Hope this helps.

It was probably a clove cigarette.  They have a sweet smell.

It might be clove cigarettes that are very popular in Indonesia. They have a very distinct odor, and can be quite pleasant smelling as long as its not overpowering.

Look in some tobacco specialty shops for brands like Gudang Garam.  

Cigars generally have strong not entirely pleasant odors, but there are a few that are made from pipe tobaccos, like Captain Black, that smell nice.

Probably the clove the guy above metioned. Gudang Garam is one of the brands. It's an Indonesian brand. I really like the smell, too. Shame that I have to smoke them myself, I'd rather have someone else smoke them. It smells much better then..

Cigarettes all smell the same for the most part...nasty. It was probably a pipe. Cigars do have a tendency to smell "OK" but pipes with cherry tobacco or any other pipe tobacco packed in it smells very good.

agree with miesplz, it's probably clove cigarettes. they have a distinctive smell that's aromatic and not like regular cigarettes.

I think that light menthols smell best, of cigarettes anyway. Cigars usually smell completely different. Pipe smoke usually smells the most pleasant. Next time you smell it, look around for smokers, follow your nose, and just ask. It isn't considered rude. If you're cute, you might even be given a puff if you ask! (LOL!)
