  1. I would reccomend you look at Rileys 3 peice cue's(not the club). gimme a few mins and I'll give you a link to a good one

O I forgot, do you know what wieght he likes?

To be honest if he is a very serious snooker player, he may prefer to choose. Baby rux has a point.

  2. As many as they are cue makers all makers offer them 1.2 and3 peiceMucci would be my choice but I dont play enough snooker to worry much about it

or you could let the other half choose one ive had people buy me some exp. sticks then i feel like i insult them becaues i dont shoot with it.Kind of like a sweater from grand mother that hangs half way to your knees

                   Later Johnny

  3. a straight one that you find comfortable and is priced right.

  4. Viking cues are good quality sticks and are affordable, if you want to pay a bit more get a mcdermott but wont get much better performance it just looks better.

  5. you can try John Parris's cues or...Rileys are said to be good. it's the most known brand. Anyway you should try some and get the one you feel better with. There are several types of wood of which they make the cues. Not everyone likes the same type. What a can say...beware of the joining...it should be a metallic one...Though Dott(i think) has one with a plastic joining...but he's the only one.

My guess is that you should try and see what suits you/other half best!
