What is the best snorkel tour in Canun?

My girlfriend and I are going to Cancun in a matter of weeks and are looking to book a snorkeling tour. We know there is always the chance that you wont see much, for whatever reason, on that particular day, but any input on the best possibilities and tours would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Don´t stay in Cancun, everything is ridiculously expensive there!!! take the boat to "Isla de Mujeres", it´s very nearby and everything is much cheaper there....I went on a snorkel tour there and it was AMAZING, one of the best ever (and I have snorkeled/dived in many places like Australia, Thailand,Hawaii, Guadalupe...)

I have been to Xelha twice, and both times it exceeded my expectations. There are tons of fish swimming about in their natural environment. I've seen sting rays, a small barracuda, and many many parrot fish. You swim right up to them so you are practically in the middle of their school. Definitely a must in my opinion.
