  1. first season you want a nice forgiving board,

o-matic Boron or the o-matic extr-emo if you wan venture to the park,

ultimately its up to you try a few boards first see what you like, remember being your first board and first eason you dont want to be going for shawn whites pro model just yet as it was be hard for you to ride,

also try avoid burton(inc forum) if you can, just cause there the biggest doesnt mean there the best

    :)

  2. First, use a snowboard size calculator which will also give you some suggestions on boards to look at:

At 5'4", 145lb, size 7, female, freeride, beginner - you should be on a board about 150cm.

I would recommend the K2 (Luna or Skyla), Ride (Solace) or Roxy boards.

    Good Luck

  3. Hey,

I would recommend the burton feelgood, its a very forgiving board and is easy to learn on. Also try Roxy boards for a good board to learn on.
