What is the best software for making a wedding video?

I just got engaged and we were looking into photographers and people to do wedding videos. We have a computer with a DVD burner and a photo printer. I have been trying to find software packages that we could purchase to edit our pictures and create our wedding video. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!
