What is the best solar cover for an intex 12 x 36 pool?

Our pool is on West side of house against the house. It gets good sun from about 11-3pm; otherwise, the shadows from the house cover it- great when it's in the mid80s + for a couple days - but not so warm when it's high 70's-low 80s. We are looking for best heat retaining pool cover available... Also, do those floating fish things to heat pool work?

Buy one from your local Sports Mart, Sports Chalet, HOme Depot, or Lowes. The floating fish do work.
