What is the best solution or cure for injured twisted wrist?

As a beginner, by mistake I lift the unbalanced barbell in the gym that cause my wrist twisted and injured i cant even hold any heavy things on my right hand, Still hurts for a week now..thanks

  1. Wrap it and ice it off and on. The tissue is most likely still enflamed, so you should take tylonal and other pain relievers, things that will help taking down the swelling. And don't lift on it for a few days. Give it time to heal.

My wrist is injured too.  I think it could be a sprain but it's most likely a pinched nerve.  When it's reinjured, I have to immobilize it with a wrist support for several days.  I still have all my strength with the support, but it doesn't allow my wrist to flex which causes the pain.  I also have to be careful when I take the support off to not hurt it again.  I use the kind of support that has the hard pieces on top of the hand, and under the wrist.  It holds my hand at about a 45* angle to my wrist.
