I've tried the typical "wal-mart available" solutions, including Clearasil and Clean & Clear. It's not like I have a grainy face, but usually I've got small breakouts.

  1. Things You’ll Need:

    Ice

    Soap

    Acne Medication

    Hot Compress

    Oil-free Powder

Step1Tempting as it is, don't try to pop the pimple by squeezing, pinching, or picking at it. This will just inflame the pore and spread the oils that caused the pimple.

Step2Apply ice to the area for 2 minutes every half hour. This will help shrink the pimple and possibly reduce it to an invisible size.

Step3Apply a flesh-tinted acne medication that contains benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or sulfur. Since these medications dry out the skin, apply only to the pimple area.

Step4If you'd like, use an oil-free powder to cover up the medicated area and reduce any shine.

Step5If the pimple is already coming to a head and it's too late to use the ice treatment, use heat. Wash the area with soap and water. Apply a hot, damp compress to the pimple for 60 seconds. This increases circulation and helps bring the pimple to a head. Remove the compress and apply gentle pressure to drain the pimple; do not squeeze. If the pimple does not drain, reapply heat and try again. Do not force the pimple.

  2. Try drinking lots of water to flush your system and maybe one laxative to rid your body of toxins. I've been using Dermalogica which is pretty expensive but it works and doesn't dry my face. You can find it at most beauty supplies. ProActiv worked for a while too but then I needed to switch. ProActiv is cheaper and may work for you. Also, make sure you cleanse your face well in the morning and before bed...don't wash your face with body soap...it's usually too strong. Try to avoid touching your face during the day which is hard but if you work at it...you'll get it.  You'd be amazed at how much bacteria you transfer to your face without realizing it.

  3. Dont laugh... seriously ..... there is this stuff called bikini zone. It works on bumps.. It dries them up really quickly.. Just apply it to the area.

  4. When you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks to rid yourself of acne. Helpful  solutions for pimples at  http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

  5. pro active. but you have to exfoliate your face to open up the pores and clean them out or it will keep coming back no matter what.
