Pretty much your only choices are Yamaha and Kawasaki. I've owned both. They both have their good points and bad points and are a matter of personal preference. I'd say to rent them (or ride a friends) before considering buying one. Also, you can pick up a used one much cheaper than buying a new one...they lose their value fast. Stand up skis are much harder to ride and a lot of people get frustrated with them before they master them. I've been riding/racing stand up skis for 25 years and I love them.....but I do have a sit down ski for the family to ride!
