What is the..best...sound system for my car?

I have a 95 Hyundai Elantra. I dont really need like a top of the line sound system, but I would like an improvement as I would like to get new..er car in a couple of years...What would be a good choice for this type of car. Links would be great. :)

Go to a local store and don't let them try to suck you into buying the most expensive ones.

Listen to a few different speakers, see what you like the best. Lots of times the 100$ speakers beat the 300$ speakers because they sound better to YOU.

Its your speakers, let them sound good to you not the manufacturer.

Replace the speakers with aftermarket brand names,like MB Quartz.....the difference will be tremendous.No matter what the head unit is,everything will go through the speakers.HTH.
