  1. I play hockey and if your worrying about the hitting aspect of the game then just practice skateing more and become more elusive to avoid some of the uneeded collisions, there's no point in hitting when its avoidable

  2. if there is a possible chance rugby would be good cause it hurts but i dont know what season that is, otherwise football or more hockey i dont think soccer would be the best choice

  3. most hockey players play Soccer to warm up their feet..

i dont see how football or rugby would help.. unless you enjoy playing hockey with broken bones.

more hockey is always good too..

  4. i'm with josh and chris - i think that lacrosse uses the same kind of flow/awareness thinking that is needed for hockey - the hand skills and the banging make it a natural for off-season training - not much lacrosse around when i was growing up in the states, i wish i could give you some anecdotal evidence

  5. football teaches you to hit, get hit, play as a team, and is great for kicking your *** in to shape

  6. hackey sack!!!!!

    footy

or gymnastics...i think it's a sport. i don't know if you "play" it though, but you certainly perform it.

i saw sidney doing some highkicks to prepare for games...so maybe thai kick boxing on light.

  7. Soccer.  a lot of teams form circles under the seats and kick the ball around for the warming up of the legs and for the hand-foot coordination.. the European players are who brought this to the NHL.  Been doing it in Detroit for quite a few years and actually may have been the first team to start this.

  8. Lacrosse. thats what id say.

  9. soccer or lacross

  10. Lacrosse (good hand eye coordination, passing, lots of running, contact, cradleing is semi similar to stickhandleing its the same concept)  street hockey socccer and more hockey

  11. I guess it would depend on your style of play.  If you are going for the more agile, quick footed player, then soccer.  If you are a big hitter and use your size to your advantage, football would be useful.  The best would have to be more hockey.  If you are going to play more hockey, look for a new league so you aren't playing with the same people during the off season.  That way, you can expand your abilities and learn more.

  12. Practice makes perfect so hockey. However, soccer is pretty good on cardio and balance so that'll help tremendously too.

  13. Lacrosse
