What is the best sports car?

I think it is the chrysler M.E four twelve. It has850 hp and goes 0-60 in 2.9 sec. and acceleration to 100 mph i 6.2 sec. it has a v-8 engine found in the 300c. The "four" means it has four turbochargers strapped to the engine and the "twelve" beacause the turbos are strapped to a 12 cylinder engine. It has a high speed of 248 mph.

I like people who ask and answer their own questions.

Personally, the world thinks the Mazda MX-5 Miata is the best sports car in the world. Worldwide, including the US, it has sold more than any other sports car in history -- almost a million to date and still going strong.

The Miata doesn't have 850 hp and won't do 248 mph, but then where would you drive such a car? Could you afford it? And could you afford the maintenace, gas, and insurance on it?

the corvette, and yea i kanow it use to be a kick @$$ muscle car ,but they turned it into a sports car.

huh, you just said it had a v8 then you said it has a v12...

i have never heard of this car, it must be a concept or ultra high end type car...not really a sports car

a sports car would be a subaru wrx sti, vette, porsche, ......camaro, mustang, challenger

....the latter being of the more affordable type...who gives a c**p about a car that costs more than 4 average houses!

The M.E four twelve is a concept car developed by Chrysler and is really more of a super car than a sports car. I'm not really sure what you are asking but a lot of different companies make great sports cars like Audi and Bmw from Europe to Japenese cars like Toyota and even some new American sports cars like the Saturn Skyy and the Pontiac Solstice.

it all depends on your budget, one could say a mustang while another could say a Ferrari.  Comparing the two is useless because there is such a price difference.  BTW, the me four twelve in a concept car which is a V12, not a V8.
