  1. arkansas

  2. down south

  3. Alabama

  4. Georgia yO.

The chicken captiol of the world.

    Tyson is there.

  5. Judging by the size of the farms there I would say that Maryland must rank high. On the Perdue Chicken farms they process 12 million chickens every 6 months. That area must be doing something right.

  6. Arkansas  Jim Perdue

  7. I'm not sure it's the best, but they do farm a lot of them in North Carolina.

  8. Arkansas is the nation’s leading chicken producer, third in turkey production and eighth in table egg production. They produce more than 1.2 billion chickens, 29 million turkeys and 3.4 billion eggs per year.

Tyson, Pilgrims Pride, Perdue, Conagri, Hudson Farms and lots of smaller ones too.

Arkansas has milder weather and is not flood prone.

  9. I don't know that any state is the best for raising chickens.  Arkansas is probably the leading state for raising chickens. Any state with mild weather would be good.  Not too hot or not too cold, also an area that is not heavily populated, but still close enough to a good market.

  10. i have no idea but i have been thinking for a few years i would love to raise chickens and produce organic healthy eggs to sell.

i know nothing about doing something like this but that doesnt mean i couldnt learn.

    good luck to you!
