  1. Zecco was rated the last of all brokers by this years Barron's annual best broker article.

    You want cheap with service!

    Here's some ideas.

    New to Investing/Trading;

    Charles Schwab

    Fidelity Investments

    A little more experience;

    TD Ameritrade

    Experienced but not trading all the time;

    Scottrate

    E-Trade

    Know what you're doing, want great platform, low rates & good service;

    ThinkOrSwim (wonderful platform, no extra charge)

    Tradestation ($100 a month for platform)

    Hope this helps!

  2. one that makes you the most money it doesn't matter how much he costs if he makes you enough that you can afford it.......don't worry about cost just results

  3. what is the best?

    or

    Who is the best?

    You are.......do your own research--go with a low fee brokerage house

    How do you find one.........go to Yahoo finance

  5. You have found one of the "advantages" of dealing with a cheap broker on-line, you always get what you pay for

    All major brokerage firms provide their clients with on-line services, including trading platforms, latest market & financial news and research.

    Customer need to select the site that is best for them.  Traders have requirements in a site, while investors have other requirements.

    Although most sites are geared to general securities and commodities, however customers may have special needs for the types of products they trade, and the markets in which they trade.

    It seems that the most popular firms for on-line investing all of which provide excellent platforms and services are; Scottrade; Chas.Schwab; TDAmeritrade; Fidelity; E-Trade and Thinkorswim.

  6. I like http://www.Scottrade.com

  7. I wouldn't get an on-line broker if I were you.  You need to talk face to face so that you know who to go after if they rip you off.
