What is the best strategy game you ever played on pc?

I think Rome total war, Barbarian invasion and total war Alexander are very good and challenging and require alot of planning

I played one that is World Of War or something, I don't really know but it was all about WW2 and you really needed to know a ton of historical facts and stuff to win it and since I'm obsessed with that historical period it was really fun coming up with strategies.

Those are good games. Starcraft and Warcraft are really good rts (real time strategy) games. Civilization games are good turn-based systems. There are many other good ones, but these are my favorites.

I really like all the age of empires games. Its cool being able to build up your own civilization and having wars. other than that...chess maybe?

Trust me don't ever buy world of warcraft. Its a waste of time and you have to pay 15$ every month just to play. And the number 1 cause of divorce is world of warcraft. Plus you'll end up broke in the end. Stay in the real world, not the warcraft.

My absoloute favorite strategy game is Hunting unlimited 3. You get to pick your weapon or gun and equipment and clothes. Then you pick your animals your going to hunt and map. And it takes time and strategy to hunt an animal. Im a expert on that game. Infact i hold a record over the computer that still noone has beat. Geat the game, try it, try to beat my score. My best choice yet. And its only 10-20$. And theres no monthly payments or nothing. And its really fun when your bored.

P.S: Heres advice if you do get it, shoot the animal in a death spot, or shoot it as much as you can, then follow its blood trails. It will lead you right to it, and sometimes the animal dies from losing the blood. That was always my strategy.

the total war series is a definite... so's the age of empires/mythology series. i also like red alert 2 & yuri's revenge.
