  1. I have been numerous times, and am now an employee there.  By far, the best thing to do in my experience, is to go early and set out a chair on one of your favorite holes, then leave it there (it wont get stolen, everyone does it.)  Then go follow around the group that you like the most for about 9 holes or so.  After that, eat or shop, then return to your chair for the rest of the day to rest and watch all the golfers style of attacking the hole.  It allows you to see every golfer, and get to know how to play the best shot for that hole.  I like using 16, then following Phil or Tiger, someone with large crowds to have the best experience.  Its really all relative though.

  2. Never been to the Masters, but I've been to the Tour Championship.  I say pick your spots and get there.  If you are going on Sunday, sacrifice the day to get a good spot at 18 so that you can be there for the winning putt.

If you try to follow a specific group, you should be ok, unless that group has anything to do with Tiger Woods or Phil Mickelson, then you're an idiot who won't see anything.

Pick your spots.  Spend some time at Amen Corner.  Try to see some golf at 16 and try to get to 18 if you can.  Just know that there will be people packed around the 18th green and flowing out of the grandstands before the first shot it hit.  Don't think that you'll make it to 18 green towards the end of the day and get a good spot.

    Good luck to you.

  3. uuuhhh...turn on the tv

  4. Never follow a group.  Bring yourself a chair (no arms, club rule) and as soon as you get in the gate haul *** to where you would like to watch "most" of your golf, some suggestions are:  Amen corner, 16, 7 and 10.  (all green side)

Put your chairs down, no one will bother them.  Then go off and do what your gonna do, until you want to go sit down, You can shop, follow a particular player or just walk and see the course.

  5. with your eyes

  6. Walk the course and don't follow Tiger's group since his galleries are the most crowded unless you don't mind it.

  7. just watch it

  8. Well if you have tickets for the Masters you are one up on most of us so drink plenty of beer and either walk the course to follow the player you like for  while or stand by the tee box and watch the players rip the driver like you wish you could and when you get tired of walking hang by the 18th hole and watch all the players put out....there is no right or wrong way just be happy you're there.

  9. Not the easiest thing to do.  You actually cannot follow one group for the entire round.  The way the course is laid out and roped off you can follow a group for several holes, and then you will get detoured and have to miss a few holes before you can catch up to them again.  Probably best to get there when they open (around 8:00 AM I believe) and pick a spot where you would like to watch the field hit a shot and then just remain there most of the time.  After about 50 you might get a little bored so move to another good shot you would like to see.  I have been to several tournaments and to get the big picture of what is happening you really can't beat watching on TV.
