What is the best stuff to put on the bottom of sleds so they go faster?

Best stuff is ski wax. It is intended to be durable and to match a specific temperature range. Thin stuff like cooking  spray or silicone will wear off quickly (snow is abrasive!).

The wipe on liquids for skis (like Swix F-4) are also a good alternative.
