I was a harness handicapper, but I want to change things up and get into the flats. I know its a different ball game.. My question is what is the best package to buy from the DRF(Daily Racing Form). I've heard that the Moss speed figures is a good package along with the normal PP's... Any thoughts would be great!!!!

  1. If you sign up to play the game at publichandicapper.com they have a special where you can buy 100 regular PPs for $100, though you have to use them within the year you purchase the package.  I bought one around the time of the Derby and I still have 20 or so left.  That's been a good value for me.  You should also check out http://www.horse-races.net/library/links... this site has links to free Brisnet pps  from various trainers, breeders and tracks.  You can get several races there every day, all kinds of different tracks.

  2. I would go with the 100 cards for a $100.00 dollars.

You can get  Formulator Basic, which is a d/l program for the same price as the PDF PP's, or you can upgrade to the Formulator 4 if you would like to have instant access to past charts.

It's up to you whether or not you would find the Moss Pace figures an advantage to your handicapping process.
