they are pretty safe.

but if your more into the beach go for secret harbour.

Well, it is a good recommendation if you are on a tight budget.

Do you have a budget, or a price limit? The most exclusive suburbs in Perth would be Dalkieth and Peppermint Grove, so presumably they have something going for them. Without knowing what is important to you, it is hard to say what suburb you would consider to be the best.

Basically if it's on the Swan/Canning River it is the most prestigious suburbs in Perth, but you need to be a billionaire to Buy Angela Bennet's house in Mosman Park - it's for sale at $68million. All Perth's very best Private Schools like Iona, PLC, Wesley, Scotch, Aquinas are in the above suburbs. (except for two Guildford Grammar and Hale)

There is also:

Mount Claremont

Wembley Downs

Floreat

City Beach

Swanbourne

Cottesloe

Leighton

and these beachside suburbs in the Western Suburbs (ie below Scarborough) are really specky as well.

Look up Willy Porteous the real estate agent if your interested in any of these sort of suburbs.

and I'll ignore the suburbs further out. (they are nouveau rich and a bit crass LOL).
