  1. TRY KENNY'S CANOES IN LONG BEACH CALI>

  2. Don't you know that playing outside is soooo passe?!?  Just rent a video game and blow up too 400 pounds like all americans...

  3. Well, if you really are intermediate, I'd say go with something shorter.  My husband is 6'2" and about 185, but used to be 200.  He rides a 6'4" JC.  We also have a 6'4" Merrick K board that he rides.  I like the 6'4" - 6'8" range, and think it's a good length to really improve your skills on.  Make sure it's thick enough to float you, you don't want something too thin or you'll just sink.  :)  When my hubby sits on my board, it's hilarious.  He can hardly keep his head above water.  :)

If you want to go for something a little longer, get a fun board.  Something in between a long and short board, like around 7'0" - 7'6" but with a wide nose like a long board.  It's a nice transition board because it's long enough that you can stand up and balance with relative ease, but it's short enough that you can start playing around more with tricks on the face of the wave.
