  1. it doesnt matter where its located...?

    SushiSamba

    245 Park Ave. S.

    New York, NY 10003

    212-475-9377

It takes two to tango, but it takes three to samba at Sushi Samba: Japan, Peru and Brazil. Enter through the colorful geometric doorway into the fanciful modern dining room where white light fixtures undulate like soap bubbles overhead. True to the cultural combination, lines are simple, but colors are bright. This mélange of cuisines and aesthetic styles produces a party atmosphere that will likely have you dancing by the end of the night. The fare, if not exceptional, is certainly loads of fun for those who aim to be entertained by their food. Choose lobster and king crab gyoza to get the ball rolling or the miso-marinated Chilean sea bass.

  2. Go to Nobu 57...it's a really trendy place and it has tons of awesome other food too, although best known for their sushi. Reservations are hard to get so you have to call way in advance.

  3. Nobu has become overrated.  Quality has really dropped since they first opened.

I would recommend "Bond St" in NoHo.  It's very similar to Nobu, being that it's a trendy space, but the sushi is much higher quality.

Sushi Samba sucks btw.  The only reason it's popular is bc they shot a s*x and the city episode there.

  4. Koi or nobu.  Thats where all of the celebs seem to like going.

  5. chineese buffet
