  1. Get a cilicone cap those work really well.

  2. I've been swimming competitively for ten years and i have yet to find a cap that keeps my hair completely dry. Silicone caps always work the best for me... i swear by them they don't rip as easily as the latex do and they keep a lot of water out... but not all of it.

  3. Get a Aquasphere "Aquaglidecap"  They come in black, silver and blue. they have a recess fior the ears and keep a lot of water out. Then make a "swim band" from another cap latex or silicon and put it over the first cap to go around the head. You can get them on Ebay. You can do both in the same color or use differnt colors .

See the swim band page, just do the  swim band over the first Aquasphere cap not under it.

The swim band page shows a strapped bubble swim cap over the band, This combo keeps a lot of water out too and is less tight on the head.

The bubble strap caps have been worn by gals and yes guys too for English Channell, Catalina channell and cold water swimming , Alcatraz swims  ect for some time. so dont think its sissy because sissys cant swim 20 plus miles in cold water

See the cold water swim caps page too the bubble cap with a regular cap over is very water tight. On the outer cap write something crazy  like " USA  1st Place  World Championship Open water Lifeguard Class" and no one will trouble you about a strap on the cap

  4. Sorry but your hair no matter what will be wet when ever you use a swim cap.  If you were swimming in a shower it would be different.  There is no "magical" swim cap that keep out all the water.  If so I would have it!!!  I love my hair not wet.  But there isn't one sorry!  If you are looking for a good swim cap though I recomend one of these they're great for at least 4 months of wearing only them but then they can wear out!
