  1. The best driver of any brand is the one that you hit the best.  Try them yourself on a launch monitor.  We can't tell you which is the best for you and your particular swing and game....this is a you decision.

  2. The new Taylor Made Burner is a great driver. Its about 1 degree offset so the setup maybe a little different than what you are currently used. I personally don't like offset clubs but it work for a lot of people I play golf with. If the price is a little to high natioanl sporting good store such as Golf Smith and golf Galaxy's are having a sale on the previous model of the Burner.

Stick with the 9.5 degree cause the Burners have a high MOI.

  3. The Taylormade CGB and taylormade tour burner

  4. TP Burner

  5. Most popular models are probably the r7 series. Moveable weights are good for shot shaping, and changing the weight of the head depending on your preference. Don't get any of the Draw biased clubs though.

Horrible sound off the tee though, as with most TM drivers.

  6. Another vote for TM Burner.  Stick with 9.5 as it tends to launch the ball little high.

The stock shaft is decent and the sound.... TM must've had some acoustic engineers test out the driver or something.  The sound has definitely improved.

Very forgiving and have I mentioned it's frickin' long??  Be ready to add at least 10 more yards to your current drive.  Just make sure to swing the same way you've been swinging....  the club will do its part.  :-)

I was debating between Burner vs. Sumo.  Ended up with Sumo just because it had a cheaper price tag with a shaft upgrade.  Burner came in close second.

  7. I have an R7 460 that I purchased in 2006 (with the adjustable weights), and I swear by that club; the rest of my clubs are Ping/Titleist, but I truly love my Taylormade driver.

The R7 line are good in that they have adjustable weights, as is the burner line.

Unless you are a chronic slicer I'd stay away from the R7 Draw.

Try both (the big-box golf retailers will let you), and see which one feels better.  Without knowing your swing, it's hard to say which one will work better for you.

  8. i like the tour burner.
