What is the best team for Final Fantasy IX?

ok i was just wondering if i can get 2 different sets of teams for the final fantasy ix game. i was wanting a team that works well with eachother and are the best efficent

1) just a simple 4 person team

2) another simple 4 person team however including freya in it

1) Zidane, Steiner, Dagger (Princess Garnet), and Vivi. Zidane and Steiner would be able to attack making your fights simple and easy. Dagger would make sure your team always has high HP and Vivi would use Black magic for elemental enemies. It's a great balance.

2) If you really want Freya then just the same but switch Steiner.

always keep steiner with vivi because he can use magic attacks. it really doesn't matter after that. just make sure that you have 1 white mage in each party and the other go into which ever one you prefere
